About Our Firm
Proudly Serving Stamford, West Hartford, CT & the Surrounding Areas

On July 1, 1966 Herbert A. Bregman, backed by the Boston firm of Braman & Company, purchased Harry Wunsch CPA in Port Chester, NY. Harry Wunsch retired. The firm changed its name to Braman Wunsch & Company; Braman Bregman & Company and ultimately Bregman & Company, P.C. in 1977.

Bregman & Company, P.C. opened its first Stamford office in 1967. In 1971, the firm closed its Port Chester office (maintaining the telephone number) and expanded its Stamford office.

On September 1, 1986, Owen W. Bregman joined the firm after working for various other CPA firms in Washington D.C. and New York City.

Today, our firm serves businesses across Connecticut – including our hometowns of Avon and Stamford, CT as well as West Hartford, CT and many other localities – across the United States, and all over the world.
